She'll discuss your skin concerns, current skincare routine, goals, and any allergies or sensitivities.Your facial begins with makeup removal, if needed, followed by a skin analysis and a customized treatment based on your skin's needs. Jennifer can also recommend an at-home skincare routine, including which products or ingredients to use or avoid and the order to apply them.

There's no need to remove it before arriving.Makeup removal is the first step of your facial, if needed. Jennifer, our licensed esthetician, will gently remove your makeup before beginning your customized skincare treatment.

Are extractions included in my facial?

Extractions are included in our facials at Morning Sun Massage & Spa in North Liberty when desired and appropriate for your skin's needs.The exception is our 60-minute Lymphatic Renewal Facial, which focuses on gentle lymphatic drainage of the face and neck. If you'd like extractions included with your Lymphatic Renewal Facial, we recommend booking the 90-minute option, which allows additional time for customized skincare and extractions.
